As part of the XYZ project, I used JavaScript and the Scriptographer plugin to conduct generative design experiments.
JavaScript is a versatile, object-oriented programming language developed by Brendan Eich in 1995. Originally intended to add interactivity to web pages, it has evolved into a cornerstone of modern web development—alongside HTML and CSS. JavaScript enables features like animations, real-time updates, and rich user interactions across all major browsers. Beyond the browser, it powers server-side development through environments like Node.js, making it a full-stack technology.
